Before he sold his company to Zynga, he was CEO of OMGPOP, the creator of Draw Something, the fastest growing mobile app in the history of mobile. The game hit 1 million users in 9 days and 50 million users in 50 days. Prior to OMGPOP, Dan was the SVP Corporate Development for Richard Branson and The Virgin Group in North America where he led investments and sat on a number of Boards of Virgin Companies. Dan was also President of TicketWeb, the first online ticketing company, which he sold to Ticketmaster CitySearch. Before getting into business, Dan was a founder and President of Teach For America, launched some of the first Charter schools in NYC and was a public school teacher in Brooklyn Dan has a BA from Princeton University, an MA in Latin American Studies from NYU and lives in Brooklyn with his wife, kids, various pets and guitar. He is also active in First Growth Network, TechStars and is the founder of Inside Startups. New Startup Central Mentors Anthony Green (bio) - Anthony is currently Vice-President, Business Development at Optimal, where he leads the east coast operations of the company. Optimal is one of Facebook ‘s first API partners and is the leading technology provider in social media optimization and analytics, working with clients such as Sephora, Liberty Mutual and Just Fabulous. Prior to Optimal Anthony co-founded Concep, a B2B marketing technology provider, with offices in London, Sydney and New York. When not talking about social media Anthony chairs the Junior Board of Achilles International, a non-profit that enables disabled athletes to compete for fun an competition. Nigel Austin (bio) - Nigel Austin is the founding partner at Austin Law PLLC, a progressive business law firm for entrepreneurs. He represents startups and emerging growth companies in a broad range of industries, including technology, consumer, fashion, food and beverage, and advises companies on business formation, founder and employee arrangements, seed, angel andventure capital financings, commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic transactions and other business related matters. Nigel frequently acts as a mentor and advisor to entrepreneurs and regularly serves as outside general counsel to businesses. He is a member of the Technology & Venture Law Committee of the New York State Bar Association and a member of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association.
