It's all about how we can do it differently. It's all about how much more value you can get from it. So here it is. The 7 ultimate ways how we can enhance your experience at NY Business Expo 2012 as an attendee. Read on!
1. 2,000 glossy full color expo show guides/magazines This is the ultimate guide that will help you easily navigate through the show floor, over 100 exhibitors. This guide will include bios of our speakers and mentors. It will also give you a snapshot of what some of our exhibitors do. Be one of the first to arrive on 11/14 or 11/15, and you'll be sure to receive one of these free giveaways. 2. 2,000 NY Business Expo - branded gift bags We've got all kinds of goodies in these bags, including coasters, gift cards, ping pong balls, etc. We have already received over 3,000 confirmed RSVP's, but there are only 2,000 bags available. Better to arrive early to get one of these for free. Doesn't sound like a bad deal, does it? 3. iPad-equipped interactive lounge NY Business Expo 2012 will be featuring the iLounge, which will be equipped with Internet-connected iPads. Attendees can relax, network, or simply check their emails on one of these devices here. iLounge is designed to make you feel more comfortable and help you do more with less! 4. Best media people you will meet NY Business Expo 2012 will have its own media/reporter registration list. Aside from that, Digital Ethos and NYEBN will be co-hosting a media panel here. See details below Title: The Impact on Communications in the Digital Age Content: This session will explore how the "Digital Age" has changed the way media organizations do business, communicate and adjust to the change in digital communications. The session will explore the personal impact it has had on the professionals and explore the outlook on employment for future professionals. Moderator: Basil C. Puglisi - Digital Ethos Panel: Will J. Wright - Senior News Editor at NBC News Walter H. Sanchez - Publisher Queens Ledger & Brooklyn Star Weekly Community Newspaper Group Richard Greenwald, Ph.D. - Academic Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at St. Joseph's College Keep in mind this is only one of the 28 seminars, a.k.a. Small Business Classroom. RSVP for the entire program here. 5. More efficient networking We'll be using name tags with QR codes this time to coordinate all networking sessions at our 2012 business expo. You should bring a smartphone with the QR code scanner app pre-installed. Then you will be able to get other attendees' contact info instantly. 6. After parties All mentors, speakers and exhibitors will be invited to the after parties, where you could say HI to them in case you missed them during the day. The after parties will be held at a different location - Alley NYC (500 7th Ave., 17th Floor, New York, NY). One ticket gets you in for both parties. Get your early bird ticket here. 7. StartEngine Demo Day We are the first Business Expo that has partnered with a startup accelerator to include a demo day as part of the show. While the show proves to be a highly valuable platform for the StartEngine startups, the fact that the Demo Day will be included as a part of NY Business Expo can provide great value to New York startup ecosystem as a whole. This partnership will be highly beneficial to expo attendees and exhibitors because it means there will be a whole lot more quality people and companies you can meet at the expo. StartEngine will be showcasing 14 startups with its demo day. The demo day is invite-only.
