Hello NYEBN Community Members,

Hope this finds you well. Tomorrow's temperature is in mid 70's. Sunny and gorgeous! I guess we couldn't wait for a better time for a much-anticipated summer rooftop party. Just added the open bar wine and beer selections here. If you want to find out more about the attendees, you can check both here and here. I'm really impressed with some attendees and the companies they represent. How can anybody miss an event like this?

This week is the last week for the free half-page ad offer to sign up as an exhibitor. Sign up today to save $600. The offer ends at the end of June 30. Download floor plan and attendee demographics. Fill out this form to reserve a booth.

New Expo Partner Page

Our goal with the NY Business Expo 2012 is to create one of the most differentiated/valuable and best attended business trade shows in New York. Today, we are moving one step closer to that goal. The partner page on the expo website is officially going live. Check out http://nybusinessexpo.... We will be adding partners on an ongoing basis.

The partners we are featuring on that page are all embracing the same value as NYEBN, which is having entrepreneurs at the center of whatever they do. And they are supporting our initiative by sharing expo-related info with their communities. Today we are announcing the first three organizations to join the expo partner network:

1). UNCUBED (http://getuncubed.com...) - currently the largest and most entertaining recruiting event in the city, taking aim at breaking formal walls and barriers by offering startups, talent and industry enthusiasts new, high-energy platforms though which to connect.

2). iBreakfast (http://ibreakfast.com...) - The iBreakfast is where Digital Media companies get plugged into the key trends in the industry and the right people making it happen. The iEvening is where Start-Ups discover their real business pitch and get to present it to NY’s leading Angel VCs.

3). Columbia Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) (http://columbiaentrep...) - one of the largest and most active student organizations at Columbia Business School. CEO aims to provide students exposure to some of the most successful entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors.

Thanks to the prolific organizers, Tarek Pertew, Alan Brody, and Jigar Patel, for leading the effort! We value your support and partnership to make the 2012 expo one of the best! Just a heads up. In the next few weeks, we will start rolling out the press section and the exhibitor page. Be sure to check back to our website often at http://nybusinessexpo....

New Speaker - Bob Dorf

Announcing Bob Dorf, the author of The Startup Owner's Manual, as one of the most valued speakers at the expo. Bob Dorf explains why a mature approach to startup development requires many pivots to discover a business model that can ultimately be successful. He will also explain many concepts and methodologies that are mentioned in "The Startup Owner's Manual" in order to successfully start your own startup.
