Every few days, there seems to be an article popping up in the media that sings the praises of New York's startup economy. The latest one is from New York Times by the name of "For Tech Start-Ups, New York Has Increasing Allure." I like the positive energy here. But I remain convinced that unless the next Google or Facebook comes out of New York, there is still no comparison between New York and Silicon Valley. Period. It's all about entrepreneurs.

 

And what makes a great entrepreneur? According to my favorite VC book "" authored by Jeff Bussgang, "... an entrepreneur is someone who will jump off a cliff and assemble an airplane on the way down." Not to get confused with Avengers, this statement has great truism by itself. And it's great for Jeff to include it in his book. Fortunately, Jeff is also a featured speaker at NY Business Expo 2012!
