Silicon Alley Battlefield (SAB) Series is a project developed by NY Entrepreneurs Business Network (NYEBN). The series brings VCs, angel investors, startups, and tech enthusiasts together to share knowledge and build connections. We're building the most effective platform that brings you the best NYC pitch events. By participating, you connect with people who can contribute to the bottom line of your startups/businesses. Pizza/drinks/snacks/desserts will be served for all attendees.
* Each startup gets 5 minutes to pitch with slides and 5 - 10 minutes for feedback and Q&A. Pitching slots have been all filled for SAB 14. Apply to pitch at SAB 15 @ http://ranwong.com/startups/
*This is for our demo partners. You can be a service provider, an established startup, an investment firm, etc. If your product/service could greatly benefit our crowd, we encourage you to get involved here. We have limited slots available. And you get 5 minutes to showcase your product at this event before everything else begins. Demo partners won't get feedback from our judges. Click here to purchase a demo ticket.
The audience will vote for a winner (out of all pitching startups) at this event. The winner will 1). get a default meeting with any of our mentors here at your choice; 2). get free press through NYEBN.

This is an outstanding resource for entrepreneurs seeking informaiton about VC and angel funding. Watching the pitches and hearing the comments and questions from active investors is priceless in value. Andrew Wong facilitates a fast-paced,no-nonsense 90 minute meeting and puts VC investors on the spot- "What are you looking for?" "How can people connect with you?" "How could these pitches be better?"
Great job. In my opinion, the pitches went on a bit too long for such a public event. It was interesting to continue the education of "what to do" and "what not to do" by watching the pitchers.
This was a phenomenally enlightening experience to see bridge building between entrepreneurs and the VC folks. Kudos to Andrew and the NYEBN team are in order.
Impressive array of companies repped and savvy feedback from panelists.
Enjoyed watching the companies
Robert from SpaceSplitter is a great pitcher! And I liked the helpful idea of Daniel Spindler of Equal Footing - I think it`s a kind of business that will help people solve real problems and people will gladly pay for that app, because it`s definitely worth being paid for. Andrew and the team - thank you for your work!
