    Announcing a new meetup at Arena NYC. The venue is great for business networking purposes. Most importantly, it's conveniently located in Times Square. As you can see from the picture, we will have big screens all around the venue. Please check out the following details before you RSVP 1. Venue Arena is a gorgeous venue great for business and entertainment professionals. Lighting and music will be adjusted based on our needs. NYEBN has the venue exclusively from 6-10 PM. The venue has hosted events for Fashion Shows, Nokia & T-mobile Network, Victoria's Secret, etc. Click here to find out more about events hosted there. Scroll down to see a picture of the venue. 2. Admission General admission is free. RSVP early to secure your spots. This will be the only business networking event in April for entrepreneurs in all industries. The first April networking event was focused on a niche. For members/non-members showing up without RSVPs, the admission is $10 at this event. 3. Drinks Happy hour prices will be available for NYEBN members. The venue is turning away other businesses to host our event. We will be implementing the "1 drink minimum, 2 drinks norm" rule for all future networking events hosted by NYEBN. 4.       Lots of good people as at previous meeting. Venue OK although lighting at center of room was a direct sun beam from the halogen light fixture above. Did not like the plastic glasses.

      Needs to be more focused... and having a good agenda or "events/projects" to break up time (even at a Mixer format) is a great idea and useful to those attending .. Also, what about email blast a few weeks and a few days before the event.... listing Who is showing up an WHAT they want out of the Meetup?? Very helpful for those trying to properly network for business. going thru 500 people and getting none in Apparel is slightly frustrating ! Are there any "meet ups" that are separated by INDUSTRY ??..... this way, those attending can choose ..... right now, seems like many attending looking for contacts and all in Sales/Pitch mode... but very little (if any) there to hear/purchase ..... at least if by Industry, relavant people are there....
