Both you and I know that 2010 will be the best year ever when it comes to achieving your financial and business goals. What's better than having a big party at the beginning of the year to send a signal of success? Here we go. Our second time at 230 fifth (2nd time is the charm ... LOL). Read on to find out what's different this time. 1. Theme Business oriented. Bring enough business cards. Be prepared to introduce yourself to both old and new NYEBN members. 2. Venue Do you know that 230 Fifth just expanded? Their new rooftop space is large and gorgeous. Consider this event as a warming up party for the new space at 230 Fifth. I've checked out the lighting there. It's perfect for our event purpose. The venue is exclusively available for NYEBN from 6 - 9:30 PM (Read more about 230 Fifth venue at the bottom of the page.) 3. Vendors Ever thought of promoting your brand in front of NYEBN members at our networking events? Now the timing couldn't be better. Your business is guaranteed to grow together with NYEBN! Consider our networking event as a trade show. And our mission is to help you increase your ROI. Email me at info (at) WebStudio13 (dot) com for a rate quote if interested. 4. Admission NYEBN never charges its members for this type of networking events. Please do put yourself on the RSVP list early to secure your free tickets. Every event is better -- this one was phenomenal. New members add interest and diversity; new prospects for our business are at every event. The venue was perfect.
I noticed that there were more finacial advisors then actual business people(My experience). I did meet a few people that I conected with so overall I like the concept and will return for more.
This was the first time I attended a NYC Entrepreneurs event. I was very impressed. Met a great deal of people.
I was surprised how many people actually showed up to the meeting. It was very well organized and Andrew did a very good job organizing it.
It was interesting. Andy out did himself again. Keep it up Andrew!!
The best event of its kind I have ever attended.
I took pictures as the opportunity presented itself. This is my contribution to help build the reputation of NYEBN. While most people enjoy having a picture taken of themselves, some are a bit camera shy. So please if you see me with my camera and you want your picture taken, do not hesitate to get my attention as this will help streamline the photography process. Also it would be great if you could tag your photos so you can be properly identified. A tagged photo will appear under your own personal photo bio.
As a Student, you will get nothing but great experiences at these events. Practicing networking soft-skills, familiarizing yourself with human-to-human interactions, are skill-sets that most students lack coming right out of college. Why wait for your last semester? Start now. Also consider that some of the members work for great companies that may be offering internship opportunities. The first step is to go out and meet people. This is a unique, and safe, opportunity to acquaint yourself with the "business" world. Business Cards are very useful, so try to get some: Moo.com, VistaPrint.com, and OvernightPrints.com are just a few.
