    • Tax reform;

    • “Entrepreneur's Visas" that enable non-U.S. native college and university graduates to create new jobs now.

    http://technbiz.blogspot.com Can't wait. I went to the NYEBN's Holiday Party not long back, and that is the best Holiday Party I have been to since I moved to NYC a few years ago. I am so glad I am part of this group.

    Every event is better -- this one was phenomenal. New members add interest and diversity; new prospects for our business are at every event. The venue was perfect.

    I noticed that there were more finacial advisors then actual business people(My experience). I did meet a few people that I conected with so overall I like the concept and will return for more.

    I took pictures as the opportunity presented itself. This is my contribution to help build the reputation of NYEBN. While most people enjoy having a picture taken of themselves, some are a bit camera shy. So please if you see me with my camera and you want your picture taken, do not hesitate to get my attention as this will help streamline the photography process. Also it would be great if you could tag your photos so you can be properly identified. A tagged photo will appear under your own personal photo bio.

    As a Student, you will get nothing but great experiences at these events. Practicing networking soft-skills, familiarizing yourself with human-to-human interactions, are skill-sets that most students lack coming right out of college. Why wait for your last semester? Start now. Also consider that some of the members work for great companies that may be offering internship opportunities. The first step is to go out and meet people. This is a unique, and safe, opportunity to acquaint yourself with the "business" world. Business Cards are very useful, so try to get some: Moo.com, VistaPrint.com, and OvernightPrints.com are just a few.
