Introduction

My name is Richard Curry. I am a physical therapist with 10 years experience and graduated two weeks ago with my MBA from Colorado State University. I am looking to network for potential partners for a videoconferencing therapy start up in the U.S.

The most uninsured parts of the country are the most rural and undeserved medically. Home bound patients are having home care services limited year by year. Our goal is to develop a website where therapists can meet, schedule, and treat such patients through videoconferencing. They will be able to share short therapy video exercises, printouts, and create and store documentation of their visits. No health insurance will be used, only secure payment via Paypal between patients and therapists. Pricing is strictly $15 per 15 minutes of treatment (minimum 30 minutes for evaluation). We create a new market place by eliminating the health insurance burden to both therapists and patients. This unique approach will position us when payment from health insurers and government programs covers this service (which it does in HI, LA, MN, NE and growing) We will have first mover advantage and an established customer/provider base. Expansion to speech/mental health will follow.
