I'm Ambar Shrivastava. I left my job last year to pursue an entrepreneurial venture in the mobile apps space. My app Peeriscope is designed to make networking more efficient. I'd love to meet other tech entrepreneurs and developers in the NYC area.

My company recently launch an app called Peeriscope to help people identify professional networking opportunities via their location-aware mobile phones. Peeriscope lets iPhone users discover events and connect with relevant professionals while respecting privacy. Peeriscope runs in the background to find matching events or people nearby who share common work history, education, industry, skills and groups using your LinkedIn and Meetup profiles. The app works best at large conferences or networking events where you have a limited amount of time to establish new contacts.
