Hey Michael. Thanks for responding. I have been surprised and happy by the response of a post 40s gay hiking group. I plan on doing a hike along the riverfront tomorrow beginning at the Irish memorial in Battery Park. Feel free to join me. Been thinking of other hikes as well. Just learned that Metro North has an appalachian trail stop in the summers. Curious about that. Best, Phil
