RSVP list will be closed at 1:00 p.m. today. Announcing 's 2nd networking event in March at M1-5 Lounge. The venue is large enough to accommodate our crowd. Lighting and music are both comfortable for networking. Most importantly, we get to try out a venue in Tribeca area this time! M1-5 will be exclusively available for NYEBN members from 6-10 PM. NYEBN's networking parties are gaining more and more popularity. RSVP early to secure your spots for sure. If you show up without RSVP, it's $10 at the door. A couple things to keep in mind: 1. Drink Specials There will be drink specials available for NYEBN members from 6-10 PM. 2 drinks per person are usually the norm for an event like this. So far our venue partners have been incredibly generous to make venues exclusive for NYEBN members while turning away their regular customers. To make these free events a win-win for everybody, please patronize the venues by purchasing at least 2 drinks (soda is fine if you don't drink). Old policy is still in effect: If you get two of your guests to join NYEBN at the event, one drink that night is on me. 3. Other Important Reminders I. This is a business networking event. Dress code should be formal and professional. II. You need to be at least 21 to enter the venue. Bring you ID with you. III. If you do not want to wait in the line, print out the reminder email (with YES RSVP) or your own RSVP page (a sample) so you can get in immediately. IV. The time of this event is from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM 4. Venue Both the location and venue itself are incredible! Lights can be turned all the way up. Check out these pictures: Sponsors 1. Similar to other members posting comments, tonight will also be my first NYEBN event. My name is Gary Ceder, and I am a Transaction Advisor with global corporate real estate services firm UGL Equis (http://www.ugl-equis.com). If anyone knows of companies either looking for office space or reassessing an existing lease situation, or otherwise simply have high-level contacts at businesses, those are the kinds of introductions helpful to me. I look forward to meeting many of you tonight.

Photos of the event are up. Great if you can tag your own photos so people can link your name to you. I took pictures as the opportunity presented itself so if I didn't take your picture, please take the initiative and get my attention for your photo next time around.
I really like the M1-5 lounge. Our group was incredible tonight, lots of happy, productive people truly interested in meeting other people.
The venue was good for networking and the overall atmosphere was professional and friendly. I met some interesting people who I plan to stay in contact with. However, there were a couple of people who really went for the "hard sell" and that didn't seem appropriate. Minor point: I did not bring a name tag and had no problem paying $1 but you should have name tags that can be clipped on. People wearing suits don't want to put a needle through the fabric.
Decent crowd. Some new faces mixed in with other regulars of the networking circuit.
A strange experience at first, but then I got used to it. It felt like speed dating for business. I met some interesting people of which several that could amount to business (not that they had work, but in field that could possibly need my services) at some point.
As usual this group provides a great opportunity to meet a lot of other professionals in a venue that can accommodate a large crowd.
The group was professional, relaxed and varied. I enjoyed interacting with all.
It was what I expected, and that means high powered, consistent networking with a diversified crowd. It was very good and should produce a high number of opportunities.
Everyone at M1-5 was in a jolly and cordial mood. The networking is very professional and classy. I want to thank all of you who stopped by the Sunrise Premiums Travel Incentive table tonight. Please remember, our vacation certificates can really separate your company from the competition. I'm glad my company is apart of the the NYEBN www.sunrisepremiums.com Steve Kessler [masked]
Although I could only stay the first hour, it was a pleasant experience. I met some amazing figures with concepts, ideas and tools I can take with me into my own travel business. I was also pleased to see that it's not ALL about selling what you got. It was truly a meet and share event! Great Job Andrew. Many thanks to all of the vendor tables as well! You all presented very nicely. And to those I talked to on the floor, I hope to keep in touch. You all made my first event with the group a pleasant one!
